Excerpts from Exquisite Thoughts Laurana Rayne
|
ON EXPECTATIONS…
We each must find what satisfies us,
not merely that which is satisfactory.
Evidence comes in many forms,
and may not look like you expect it to.
Expectation…a double-edged sword.
I think it will
spur me on to greatness,
and all it does is
set me up for disappointment.
When will I learn to
let go of expectation and
be pleasantly surprised?
ON ECONOMY AND TIME…
The world was never meant
to be controlled by
economics, money, commercialism, or
time.
It's only when I believe in scarcity
that there isn't enough.
When I try to save time,
is it a false economy?
Complicating things has been our way
of escaping from
the truth of universal laws.
ON LIVING IN THE NOW…
When you make a decision
…you can expect to know
what direction you are heading.
…you can't expect to know
what the outcome will be.
I can't know the future,
but I can know how to act in the
moment.
Act as if
Your life matters.
And it will
Echoes.
My life echoes around me,
Telling me who I have become.
Is that what I want to hear?
Do I listen?
